I provide Art Therapy groups for carers. These support groups for carers are often online and I have done this previously through funding. Being online enables carers to easily access the support. The funding allowed us to offer these for free to the those attending.
I work with a co-therapist to provide the art therapy carers support groups. In addition to funding we can work through organisations that commission us to provide groups for carers they support. For example carers centres, local authorities or charities. Please contact me to find out more.
I have lived experience as a carer which enables me to really understand the joys, difficulties and of course the mountains of paperwork and meetings.
Feedback from previous carers online art therapy groups:
“Sometimes it’s difficult to find the words to describe emotions or how I am feeling. By attending these sessions I really feel that it has given me a lot more tools to deal with the things I need to deal with. It has also (provided) a way of being and relating while gaining a deeper understanding and appreciation about myself and building on self empowerment”
“Really enjoyed joining the group. It was diverse but we all had similar issues so you are not alone in your situation.”
